Kutle Khan Project

Kutle Khan has been performing in India and overseas for more than 15 years. He has performed extensively in more than 47 countries and collaborates with the Tamil British talent Susheela Raman as part of their Outerindia initiative. Among his other collaborations he performs with the Midival Punditz, Tritha Electric and European artist Hari Stojka. Kutle Khan has formed a band of his own with fellow artists from the famed Manganiyar community in Rajasthan who have claimed fame internationally for promoting traditional Hindustani and Sufi music. He has worked on producing traditional Rajasthan folk music with Western music influences and is known for his rhythmically complex compositions.

Kutle Khan has been featured in the press as one India’s most creative artists who is a formidable multi-instrumentalist, has mastered more than 9 percussion instruments and is presently engaged in several gigs internationally. Kutle Khan has been featured on the TV music series Dewarists and is considered one of the most successful artists from Rajasthan who has established his name internationally as a stunning performer and versatile vocalist who writes and composes his own songs.

Khan is a commendable Khartal (wooden castanets) player and has performed with his own band in several gigs across India including the Jaipur Literature Festival, Bonobo Club (Mumbai), Radisson Blue (Goa), TLR (Delhi), Blue Frog (Mumbai), The Fern (Indore) among others.
