Cultivation

With roots from Muktinath and straight out of Kathmandu, Nepalese Reggae Roots & Dub artist Cultivation played as the singer / guitarist for Nepali reggae band Land Lock Roots since 2011 until in 2013, the solo Cultivation project was created. Having released a handful of singles and releases with Outtallectuals net-label, an international collaborative EP, and shared the stage with India’s Delhi Sultanate at Dancemandu Festival 2013 as well as Reggae Rajahs and Symbiz Sound on other occasions, Cultivation is set to release his much anticipated debut album in January 2015, followed by increased international and regional presence. Cultivation’s music mainly revolves around the concept of oneness and his topics range from socio-political to interpersonal and philosophical subjects.
